Forestry Mulching
A tracked forestry mulcher grinds brush, vines, briars and small trees right where they stand and leaves a layer of mulch that protects the soil. It’s the fastest way to take back an overgrown back yard, wood line, fence row or pasture without tearing up the ground.
What’s included
The work, done right.
- Underbrush, vines, briars, wisteria and poison ivy mulched in place
- Selective clearing: keep the trees you want, lose the scrub around them
- Pastures, hillsides and fence lines reclaimed
- Trails, view corridors and walkable woods
- Mulch left on site to hold the soil and keep erosion down
- Downed trees mulched after storms
Good for: Overgrown back yards · Wooded lots · Pastures · Hillsides · Trails and views
Before & after
Real jobs, real results.
A dense thicket mulched to open, walkable ground, with the big trees left standing.

What is forestry mulching?
A tracked machine with a mulching head grinds brush and small trees into chips where they stand. There are no burn piles and nothing to haul away, and the mulch layer helps protect the soil.
Can you keep some of the trees?
Yes. Mulching is selective. Tell Brandon which trees you want to keep and the crew works around them, clearing the underbrush and scrub in between.
Will it tear up my yard?
Tracked equipment spreads its weight, and customers have told us the work thinned their property out “without tearing the land up.” Wet weather can change the plan, so we’ll talk about timing when we quote.
How much does forestry mulching cost?
It depends on acreage, how thick the growth is, the slope and access. Call (864) 497-2729 or send a few photos and we’ll give you a straight, fair price.
